YOUR USER PROFILE

It is important that the integrity and security of student test data not be compromised. For this reason, not just anyone can browse the TestTrax web site and view scores. Only those individuals who have been given proper authorization can log into the TestTrax web site and work with testing data. Part of the methodology of providing this security is to set up a "User Profile" for every individual who has been given this clearance.

Your profile is not some secret background check, but just some basic information so that we know you are who you say you are, what authority level you have been assigned, what school district you are employed by, your school, classroom, students, etc. We also maintain your current e-mail address to notify you of web site enhancements or to let you know what your password is if you forget.

In addition, by maintaining this information, we can save you a little work when you log into the TestTrax web site by filling in most of the login data for you when you arrive (see the description of how this works on the COOKIES page).
