TestTrax SECURITY

Many people have concerns about the safety and integrity of data on the internet. At TestTrax we have developed several strategies to insure that your testing data remains safe, secure, and confidential.

From a hardware perspective, nightly backups are made of all databases, and redundant web servers guarantee that your testing data is always safely on-line and at your disposal.

We also have upgrade options, in which, for a small additional fee, we can encrypt your database and internet transmissions using Secure Socket Layer encoding (SSL), which is used by many on-line credit card processing web sites.

From a software standpoint, access to your data is rigidly controlled through a user login and password which YOU control from your district. You have the freedom to restrict access to very specific areas for a user, or relax the security and allow access to the entire district database. You can even turn off the access security and allow all of your districts' authorized users access to all areas of the district data. User ID's and passwords are managed from your district by any individual assigned security administrator privilege, allowing immediate addition (or removal) of an authorized user.

For districts with large numbers of potential users, we can work with you to set-up a file import mechanism to initially populate the user database.
